The Factory 30 by Just Want Coffee @ Mount Austin

Have been hearing people saying or blogging about The Factory 30... I wonder what so attractive about it and so Chris and I finally decided to have a visit to this well known cafe.

Well, a reason why the cafe is named The Factory 30 is that the cafe is actually located in an industrial area and yes, IT IS built up of a semi-D factory! Nice idea to have a cafe in the industrial area - (i) bigger area to serve more customers; (ii) quite convenient for those craving for coffee during working hours; (iii) of course, very creative idea!

Nice ambiance in the cafe; well designed and decorated. The owner done some renovation and modified it into 2 levels cafe.

You can see many equipments which are needed for a Barista to brew a good coffee aligned nicely on the bar. Good material + Good Equipments + Good Barista =  Good Coffee

I love cafe, I love smelling coffee but I don't drink coffee (too bad that I have a bad gastric)... So as usual I'll just skip every pages of coffee to tea or chocolate lol

Cold Earl Grey Tea - RM10
 My all-time favourite tea - first time trying the cold one. With it's nice scent, I guaranteed this Earl Grey is definitely a premium one! Chris tried a few sips and he loves it too!
 

Christmas special - Nicholas Sangria Coffee + Strawberry Shortcake - RM26/set
Special creation only available from 1-31 December. 

Nicholas Sangria Coffee - Dark chocolate surrounded by a mild coffee aroma and lingering with Earl Grey taste.

Strawberry Shortcake - Spongy shortcake layered with Mascarpone cheese whipped cream and fresh strawberry slices.

This strawberry shortcake is superb! The shortcake's texture is smooth, with thick and creamy whipped cream; the combination of strawberry light sourness and the sweetness of cake and cream definitely brings an aftertaste to my mouth ~

Smoked Ham and Egg Sandwich - RM26.90

Home made bagel serving with smoked ham, omelette, mushrooms, nachos & salad topped with grated Parmesan cheese. The bagel is really nice - crispy outside and soft inside

Such a nice place to hang out and tea...!

Last minute decision of our (Tanya and I) high tea session and location -----> The Crossroads Bar at Swissôtel~

Two hours all you can eat high tea buffet brought out the old, the new and the ancient cameras clicking everywhere before any single things had been eaten.

Chocolate fondue with a selction of fruits ❤

Meringue~ Didn't get this on my plate (am not a big fan meringue) but they look really GOOD!

This pyramid-like thingy with lotsa macaroons, creme brulee, puffs, cupcakes and jellies attracted me alot! Not because of the sweets but the way they presented it. Pardon my lousy camera...didn't really get the beauty of it with my cam

Bluberry cheese cakes, choc mudcakes and fruit tarts. Gosh, these three are BOMBS!!! Especially ❤ that blueberry cheese cake

Savoury~ A selection of sandwiches --> ham & cheese, smoked salmon, tuna, egg mayo, chicken and some rolls. Good to have these when you feel really stuffed after all the sweets! I guess it neutralised the SWEETS abit.... SO YOU CAN EAT MORE =P

A glass of champagne comes with the buffet. Cheers~

Don't worry, rest for a while, have some savoury and then CONTINUE!!! Don't forget we have 2 hours to really taste everything. Well, we didn't really taste everything. There were too many sweets!!!

Yes, don't doubt! It's my plate AGAIN!!! Just tasted everything with small bites. Love the scones ^^

Awww~ Glad that we came! Great service, great food and fair price ($55/person with a glass of champagne), very worth eating! Looking for place to have high tea? Don't be hesitate! Swissotel is simply a good place to have an afternoon relax and enjoy good foood ❤

Tea Tea Tea

I guess we have fallen in love with AFTERNOON TEA!!!
Honestly, I did not really have afternoon tea habit back home! But now in Sydney like...so used to have afternoon tea! Haha!
Well, today we went to a nice place for our afternoon tea! Also because we finally finished our presentation which was our very last assignment for this semester!

This was also the first time we had our afternoon tea in this place (even though it is in Macquarie centre and I think we passed by n times)! Haha! The shop is called T2. With great ambience and nice snacks and drinks!!!!!
